I have known Lana since 2010 and had the privilege of knowing Roxy too. Roxy was the best, well-mannered mellow dog I had met and it was all because of the love and affection Lana gave her. Roxy and Lana were inseparable; they were exploring buddies and always found new adventures all around San Diego. It was Roxy’s companionship that helped pull Lana through her series of back issues and Lana’s love for Roxy that sped up her recovery so they could go on walks again. Lana has a great passion for life and dogs, which I’ve seen firsthand, both with Roxy and my own dog. Whether you’re looking for a playmate, adventure buddy, or companion, any pup would be fortunate to have Lana in their life.
In the short time I've gotten to know Lana, I've seen how big of a heart she has. Her passion for wanting to help others is contagious and refreshing to be around. Her love for dogs was apparent to me when she met my pup and spoiled him with love and affection. I've never seen him get so excited to see someone that wasn't giving him treats! When I find myself in a situation where I can't walk my dog or he needs to be watched, Lana's the first person I call. Lana's a genuine person who is passionate about providing a service for a population of people who are often overlooked.
My pomeranian's and I adore Lana! Lana is very sweet, and her compassion for animals and others is inspiring. She takes the best care of my pups, and takes extra care of my little lady. She's gentle and great with giving her medications. Even my special shy boy Riley loves her! I'm so happy to have found such a wonderful caring person to watch my pups! Not only does she take the best care of them, she also takes the most amazing photos of them!!! When she stays over she updates me through out the day and makes me feel at ease. Thank you Lana!!! You are an inspiration to all.
I already knew about Lana from my friends who had given her glowing recommendations, but I was incredibly over protective and bonded to my dog and I did not want a new dog walker after my dog walker of 4 years had retired.
It was very important to me that I find someone who had experience with a rescue dog, who would walk my dog individually, and who would be honest with the length of time for each outing. I hit the jackpot. Lana's worked with my dog for 5 months, knows about the needs of timid dogs, she's also extremely wise and experienced with the common leg/back injuries that plague small dogs.
Soon after Lana started walking my 7 year old Maltese mix, she was diagnosed with bilateral cruciate ruptures in both knees. Not only did Lana check in during her vacation, but she came back in time for post - op treatment, went with me to the vet, spent time with my dog so that I could run errands, and began working on the rehab exercises. She was always on time and never cut walks short. Lana has become a friend of the family. Her dedication and commitment to the animals in her care are awe inspiring. I have rarely left my dog for travel, but Lana is also willing to stay in my home with my dog if I need to leave or want to go on a dog free vacation. If that were not enough, she is an amazing pet photographer and I get daily updates and gorgeous photos of my dog. I trust her completely with my beloved pet and that speaks volumes.
We can't express how lucky we feel to have met such a wonderful person. We feel absolutely comfortable leaving our baby Lox in the hands of Lana. She goes above and beyond with every visit, giving us details of their adventures in the park and the most beautiful pictures. Lox adores her. We never thought we could leave town without Lox, but now we are comfortable knowing Lana is taking the very best care of him. She spoils him with so much love and so much fun.
